Rottweilers Breeders - History
The history of Rottweilers started in ancient times, when Roman conquerors invaded Southern Germany. The Romans brought along dogs that were their lifelong friends and companions. They were strong, robust, sturdy and enduring. Driving cattle and guarding property were the dogs' basic assignments. They also took part in military campaigns.

The Romans founded a town, which was later named 'the Town of Rottweil'. In German 'Rottweil' means 'Red tile'. The roofs of the houses were covered with red tiles. It happened so, that the dogs interbred with local dogs just in this town. So was produced the breed we now term 'Rottweiler'.
After a prolonged decline in the breed's popularity at the beginning of the
Gernan 20th century, groups of enthusiasts started to form Rottweiler clubs in order to rescue the dog. The relevance of those actions proved shortly after
that. The German army used rottweilers extensively during the World War 1, which
in many ways contributed to the army's initial success. After the war, the breed was called into police service.
Rottweilers Breeders - Brief Description
Rottweilers are medium sized. They have a strong body, which is attributable to their large bone and highly developed muscular system. Good strength, unbelievable endurance, vigor and remarkable liveliness are well observable through roomy chest, massive head and proportionate built of the body. Besides, Rottweilers
are renowned for poised and self controlled temper, which makes them faithful and reliable companions either in a long and bumpy drive or in combat.
Rottweilers have black coat with clear brown or mahogany markings. The coat is not very long, therefore, it does not require any serious care, except for simple and regular combing and brushing. Daily, patient and lifelong training is crucial for Rottweilers to grow up a loyal, self abandoned and protective friend. These are the dog show number one priority qualities,
which all purebred Rottweilers must possess.
